Why do people laugh? 2 sides to everyone

Everyone has two sides, call it the devil or the animal side whatever you like, but the way it works is very subconsciously, most people don't realize or even want to know what they do, for example why do people laugh? Why is laughter often said to be the "best medicine" and releases endorphins in the brain making us feel better? Why does 90+% of comedy involve someone or something being put down or belittled in some way? The answer is starring you in the mirror underneath the fancy clothes and words and polite customs we are all predatory meat eating pack animals more or less and it influences everything we do even down to an involuntary vocal response of enjoyment we have toward the perceived suffering of others.
